Did you know that the Cultural Center is a Black Historic District in Detroit? One of the first Black hospitals, an early Black music school, Black fraternities, one of the oldest Black churches in Detroit are all in this neighborhood! Join educator & historian, Jamon Jordan on a tour in the same district that includes the Detroit Institute of Arts, the Detroit Historical Museum, the Michigan Science Center, the Main Branch of the Detroit Public Library, Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, and Wayne State University. This important Black Historic District is full of our history!We Meet in front of the Charles H.
